Here in San Antonio we do get some fall color, but it doesn't usually show up until mid-December. This shot was taken in late afternoon. After a whole day of rain and drizzle, the
sun finally came out and illuminated the trees, adding contrast against a dramatic sky. The sunlight really brought out the colors! This assignment called for reflections in a body of relatively still water. The duck who unexpectedly showed up in the foreground added a nice touch, I think!
