From a hill in the Botanical Gardens, I saw this view of the city. It took awhile to get a shot of the view without people in the foreground. There were a lot of visitors to the Gardens that day, in spite of the weather.
I suppose this one could also have been used for assignment #3, which was to capture an image within a frame. I like the red leaves of this huge old oak and it frames the buildings on the horizon nicely. I used the flash to add a bit of texture to the tree bark so that it wasn't just a black blob in the foreground.
